3. Insole milling process
The special milling process used by Boot Doc to manufacture its customized insoles is very impressive. The milling process guarantees that the individual insoles fit perfectly. After having won the required information via the analysis systems, the individual insoles are designed by using a special CAD program. This design is then used to manufacture the insole down to the last detail. After the actual milling process, the insoles are finished to correct possible blemishes. What is also unique is the hundred per cent individualization that is realized by the special milling process used by Boot Doc. With special milling cutters Boot Doc is able to realize different design possibilities to manufacture sensomotoric, active, or bedding insoles. Another asset of the milling process by Boot Doc is that is can be used for a decentralized manufacturing as well. Thanks to this remarkable technology the milling process only takes 30 minutes until the insole is ready to be used, in contrast to other orthopedics technicians or shoemakers who have much longer waiting times for insoles. The milling process by Boot Doc is an especially modern alternative to other insole manufacturing methods which is both precise and fast
