Insole technology
When manufacturing footbeds, there are different approaches and requirements involved, depending on the specific problem and area of application. With BootDoc, a suitable sensomotoric footbed can be selected from the range of anatomically pre-produced footbeds or else the 3D concept can be applied, in conjunction with the agent’s expertise and the specific features of individual movement and anatomical structure. Ideally, the 3-pillar concept is adhered to, regardless of the choice of footbed technology, to ensure the best possible outcome.

Adaptation
The analysis takes place using a scanner or TFA and produces a detailed image of the current state of the foot. This is essential in choosing the correct footbed technology (3D, Senso or pre-produced) and helps draw conclusions as to how to adapt and optimise the footbed to suit the customer in question.
Low / Mid-High Arch - concept: anatomically pre-formed BootDoc footbeds can be quickly selected on the basis of the analysis and tried on at any time at no additional cost. This enables the customer to gain an immediate feel for the footbed concept and its effect. The 100% individualisation process to fit the customer’s foot then takes place using thermal moulding.
3 Arch Concept: The new BD 3 Arch product line facilitates an accurate preselection of the correct arch shape from LOW, MID and HIGH Arch. The individualized customization is carried out optional as additional service. A comprehensive range of products and sizes are offered, so a matching footbed is available for every foot!
3D – concept: 100% support for the foot is preferable in the case of some foot types and sporting activities as well as during everyday life, at times. This ensures that optimal traction is achieved between the foot, footbed and shoe. The design and development of the BootDoc 3D concept take account of the stresses on the foot (dynamic rolling, static pressures in the shoe) in the sport in question and adapt the construction and materials accordingly to ensure maximum performance and a perfect fit. 3D footbeds have also been developed for skiing and biking. The construction of these footbeds makes them suitable for use with skiing, XC skating, inline skating, mountain biking and racing bike shoes. The various constructions differ in terms of their flexural stiffness, stabilisation elements at the back of the foot, comfort-improving coating and integration of sensomotoric elements (bike). The customer cannot test the 3D concept immediately – the result is evident after production. Since the 3D concept is somewhat more time consuming and the sale price is generally higher than for the pre-produced footbeds, time and cost are important criteria in selecting a suitable footbed type, in addition to the anatomical requirements of the customer and area of application.
Senso - concept: the Senso – concept focuses on the activation and deactivation of muscles and muscular chains via response points in the foot. Targeted pressure on the tendons affects muscle tension and triggers relaxation or activation (increase in muscle tone) depending on the form.
