In the case of the pronation and supination footbeds:
• the stirrup muscle (which holds the heel bone together) is activated

• the thong across the metatarsal heads (Retreobar 2-5) is beneficial to the short muscles of the foot as well as relieving the metatarsal heads of strain
Stirrup muscle: an active group of tibialis and peroneus muscles prevent over pronation and supination. The tibialis group stabilises the inside edge of the foot. An improved stirrup muscle also strengthens the back of the foot.
Retrobar & toe thong:
Relaxation of the calf muscles and relieving the hamstring of strain during dynamic movement. Relaxation of the calf muscles and increased contact between tips of the toes.
